Yachts are known for their luxurious comfort, but the 80 Sunreef Power takes things to the next level for its owner, tennis great Rafael Nadal.
The Sunreef uses catamaran design, which means that it has parallel hulls, and measures 79 feet. The design provides plenty of space and options for customizing the cabin layout. With room for up to 12 passengers, the Sunreef includes areas for the crew quarters and mess as well as guest bathrooms and even storage space. The real highlight, however, is the master suite.
As an option, the master suite can be located on the bow section of the main deck, where the extensive glazing lets in the sunlight and gives beautiful views of your ocean-going voyage. The suite can be designed to include a double bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a dressing room, and a desk. Alternatively, this space can be used to create a large lounge with seating for all the guests to enjoy.
The main saloon of the yacht combines the interior dining space with outdoor areas. There’s also a wet bar and a hot tub, as well as plenty of other seating. The area can also be customized to accommodate a large galley. This area also provides an elevated interior navigation station.
For décor, the Sunreef makes uses of stainless steel portlights and ambient lighting. The decks are done in teak. There’s also a huge garage area where jet skis and other water toys can be stored. For propulsion, the craft relies on two 1,2000 horsepower engines or two 575 horsepower engines.
The yacht isn’t actually available yet and won’t be debuting until the Cannes Yachting Festival in September. But that hasn’t stopped Nadal from reserving his own, with expected delivery of his customised 80 Sunreef Power expected to happen sometime next year.
