German company Sealander is making waves with its new amphibious camper. Thanks to Sealander, your don’t have to decide between camping on land or partying on a boat. This tear-shaped camper magically turns into a boat, so your adventure does not have to end at the shore.
The Sealander Camper was constructed using the latest innovations in boat and automobile manufacturing technology. It has a monocoque shell hull that is made of reinforced fibreglass laminate. The shell ensures that the camper stays afloat even if it gets a leak.
Getting this thing on the water is simple. Just attach the low-emission motor to the stern, roll up the convertible folding polyester top and launch into the water. Inside the camper has all that you need to enjoy a day on the water or land. It features seating for six people that also converts to a bunk bed or large queen bed. There is also a sunroof, a fold-out table, plenty of storage, cooking and washing area, heater, cooler and a toilet. Options that can be added to this convertible camper include a state-of-the-art sound system, LED lighting, and an onboard barbeque.
The Sealander Camper is best suited to calm, shallow bodies of water. Just lay anchor and jump on the polished stainless steel swim ladder to take a dip. If you don’t feel like swimming, take in scenic views through the tinted panoramic windows. Thanks to a weight of just under 500 kg, the Sealander can easily be towed by a midsize vehicle.
