Sleek is hardly the word to describe Lamborghini’s long awaited Super SUV. Dubbed the Urus, the stunning vehicle touts a tight, aerodynamic body and plenty of action under the hood. Ready for virtually any terrain, the Urus can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h (or 190 mph). Suffice to say, the 2019 super sports utility vehicle delivers style, performance and speed the way only a Lamborghini can.

The Lamborghini Urus was actually a long time coming, with the acclaimed luxury brand dropping announcements as early as 2012. Now unveiled, it’s more or less everything folks were expecting it to be–not like that’s a bad thing. Among its bevy of specs is a 4.0 litre V8 twin turbo engine with 650 hp and 850 Nm or torque. Also featured are carbon ceramic brakes, active roll stabilisation, spry air suspension and a 4WD system with active torque vectoring and four-wheel steering. The SUV offers up to six different driving modes as well as an EGO mode by way of a ‘Tamburo’ driving dynamics selector.

From the Urus’ five seat interior, expect top shelf sportiness, luxury and technology in equal measure. The cabin features no shortage of premium leather, Alcanatara, aluminium, carbon fibre and wood. Included on the steering wheel is vibration damping as well as multifunction switches that control the infotainment and other resources. At the front is a digital and customisable TFT display presenting information in stunning animated 3D. Super inside and out, the Urus is dressed to impress and aiming to land early next year.
