Cabriolet—it’s just a fun word to say. It would be even more fun if you had the cabriolet designed Bentley Continental GT Convertible sitting in your garage.
The British car company’s third generation continental is essentially the same as the coupe in terms of design, but it features a soft-top system. It does have new wheel options, and while it is based on the EXP 10 speed 6 concept, it has a lowered nose and a sleeker profile.
If you’re running with the top down, you’ll be proudly displaying the luxurious interior. The interior is fully customizable with plenty of leather and authentic wood trim. The seats are 20-way adjustable, and there’s a premium audio system. When it’s time to pull back the roof, it won’t take much time—only 19 seconds.
Under the hood, the Continental features a 626 horsepower, 664 lb-ft of torque 6.0 liter W-12 engine with a top speed of 207 miles per hour. The engine is 200 pounds lighter, which contributes to its 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds speed. Yet it’s still an economical ride, with 23.2 U.K. miles per gallon. The engine connects with a dual clutch eight-speed gearbox (a first for Bentley) and comes as all-wheel drive standard.
