When you talk about Bentley, you’re ready to talk about pretty steep prices. The luxury car brand manufactures some of the most beautiful and most luxurious automobiles on the planet. That much quality comes at a price, and in the case of Bentley, it’s a price well worth paying for—when you’re talking about cars. But USD$370,000 for a book?
The book celebrates Bentley’s 100 years of history—the people, the company, and the cars all in extreme detail—in over 800 pages. The book, which weighs in at a whopping 66 pounds, comes bound in your choice of four shades of Bentley leather (the same leather used in the cars) and has a matching leather slipcase.
The cover sports the same Bentley crest that you would find on a hood or trunk lid of a Bentley. The book will also include a section of hand-stitched pages that chronicle you and your history of owning a Bentley. This first version will be limited to 500 copies.
If you want to step things up a bit more, you can go for the Mulliner Edition, which has 17 shades of Bentley leather to choose from and an aluminium slipcase that has a section of the left front tire of the 2003 Le Mans-winning Bentley Speed 8. Only 100 examples will be made of this edition.
The final option, ‘The Carat Edition’, comes encrusted with 100 carats of diamonds. Only 7 will be made.
