Not content with merely electrifying a Porsche 964 and a Ford GT40, Oxfordshire based restomodding garage Everrati has turned its sights on the iconic Land Rover. Everrati based the build on a Land Rover Series IIA, replacing the original powertrain with an electric motor capable of 150 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Those familiar with the original Series IIA are undoubtedly raising their eyebrows right now. For the rest of you, those arched brows are happening due to the fact that this electric version boasts more than double the power than the original.

In addition to the power boost, the electric Land Rover comes with both two and four wheel drive modes. And to top it off, you also get to choose between hi and low ranges. A 60kWh battery powers the unit, providing a range of up to 125 miles. Everatti is quick to admit that that stat isn’t overly impressive. “That’s far from the 300-mile range that’s becoming commonplace on premium EVs,” says Everrati, “but isn’t that far off from the 150 miles a full tank of gas will get you in the 60-year-old IIA.”
But just stuffing an electric motor into the Land Rover isn’t really that impressive anymore. So to continue to up the ante, Everrati also strips down the Land Rover to its bare components, subjecting them to thorough cleaning and vetting process before galvanizing and then coating each piece with a protective zinc that will help to prevent future corrosion. Customers get the choice of either a modern or a traditional canvas roof, or you can request a safari hardtop as well. The wheels are upgraded to Michelin tires. You also get heated seats.
