We’ve grown accustomed to seeing changes when we hear about a custom or bespoke option on cars. Well, you won’t exactly see that on the 2022 Lexus LC 500 “Bespoke Build,” but that’s not to say that things haven’t been changed. There are some custom features that you’ll love about this new Lexus.
The bespoke qualities of the Lexus LC 500 start with the suspension. The engineers at Lexus wanted to add a bit of nimbleness to the LC 500 so they took a look at the front and rear suspension tunings and then optimised them “to enhance ground contact feel, linear steering response, and steering effectiveness in the high cornering G range.”
To go along with those adjustments, the sport package will include 21-inch wheels—and that’s just the beginning of options. You’ll be able to select from spoilers, a carbon fibre roof (exclusive to the Bespoke Build), and a whole spectrum of colours and combinations for both the exterior and interior, including a new Manhattenhenge interior colour.
The sport package also comes with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential equipped with a Yamaha performance damper. The LC 500 also gets performance brake pads. Inside, you’ll find seats trimmed out in Alcantara. Finally, there’s also a convertible version for those that want to put the roof down while touring.
“Our LC buyers are true car enthusiasts, and they know exactly what they want,” explained Vinay Shahani, the vice president of marketing for Lexus. “They are also connected and tech-savvy. We are thrilled to offer a new online tool that allows them to craft their unique Bespoke Build.” You can head over to Lexus to start experimenting with their online tool and discover the Bespoke Build perfect for you. When you’re ready to hit that purchase button, you can expect the price to start at USD$93,050.
