Paul Walker is no doubt best known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, and much like the character that he played in the movies, Walker had a love for fast vehicles. The Barrett-Jackson 49th Annual Scottsdale Auction, to be held January 11-19, 2020, will feature a group of 21 collectible vehicles that belonged to Walker. “We’re deeply honored to offer the amazing Paul Walker Collection at our 2020 Scottsdale Auction,” stated Craig Jackson, the chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Paul’s impact was immense through both his influence as an actor in the ‘Fast and Furious’ movies and his philanthropic drive as the founder of Reach Out Worldwide. We’re proud to help continue Paul Walker’s legacy by offering his esteemed collection to their new caretakers at our flagship Scottsdale event.”
The group of vehicles from Walker’s collection will include seven BMW M3s (two E30 M3s and five E36 M3 Lightweights), a never-raced 2013 Ford Boss 302S, and a custom 2009 Nissan 370Z that made an appearance in the film “Fast Five.” The remaining cars span the years, from a 1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon to a 200 Audi S4. There are also several trucks, including a 2003 Ford F250, a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500, and a 2006 Toyota Tundra. Bronco fans will be intrigued by the 1995 Ford Bronco SUV. And there’s also something for those that love the two-wheelers, including a 2005 Harley-Davidson RS, a 2008 Suzuki, and a 2011 BMW motorcycle.
“Paul Walker’s collection spanned five decades of automotive excellence and truly reflected his personal taste,” explains Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Paul’s passion for performance was especially expressed in the cars he loved. This group of vehicles also represents the evolution of the hobby, as collectors are clearly broadening their horizons and diversifying their collections.”
