Rolls-Royce Cullinan Gets Surf Edition Complete with Board

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is heading to the beach thanks to a mod created by the Platinum Group. The Surf Edition transforms the luxury SUV into a high-end transport for any beach bum looking to catch a few sets before heading home or into the office.

The mods on the Cullinan are both functional and aesthetic. The wide body package is sourced from Mansory and extends out the four fenders as well as the rocker panels. This extra width gives more space for the boot so that you can carry all of your gear without problem. There’s also more room for the 24-inch Mansory wheels. Under the car, a modified air suspension takes out the roughness of the ride, so that just like your surfing, your driving will be smooth and relaxing. The Mansory kit also includes a boot spoiler, quad exhaust tips, and a rear diffuser to add in a bit more downforce. The kit brings in a new front bumper and a fresh paint job done in Slate Grey. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of a Surf Edition if the modded Cullinan didn’t come with a surfboard. In this instance, that board is a custom-made project that is done in matching Slate Grey and sports the Rolls-Royce logo in gold. The board was actually built in house and features a retro fish design.

For performance, there doesn’t seem to be any changes to the existing Cullinan powertrain. Instead, the 6.8-litre twin-turbo V12 goes untouched, which is fine considering that it already offers 563 horsepower and 627 l b-ft of torque. The all-wheel drive features an Off-Road mode for getting you right to the beach when you need it.

There’s no definitive word on pricing, but it’s likely going to have a starting price of at least USD$325,000, with many people estimating a price north of $600,000. Chances are you won’t see your average surfer coming to the beach in this SUV.
