Motorcar Studio recently sold a one-of-a-kind custom. A 1978 International Harvester Scout II rebuild. The Scout was brilliantly restored and equipped with automatic transmission, power steering, disc brakes, air conditioning capabilities, and a 345ci V8 engine.
Externally the car was masterfully finished with desert tan paint, black top, side stripes, emergency flares, rock sliders, and completely unique front and rear bumpers that give this rebuilt Harvester a majestic, but stoic look.
What’s more impressive than the hardware or the flashy finish is what Motorcar was able to do with the chassis. It has been expertly retooled and has absolutely zero rust or wear issues throughout. The redone frame is set up on 17-inch powder coated wheels and high quality mud wrestlers thrown onto a 4-inch lift. This beast sits at just the right height when you’re behind the wheel.
Inside, you’ll see that just as much attention was given to the interior. New seat upholstery, door panels, headliners, and an industrial roll cage build a solid foundation for the additional features and functionality this excellent vehicle provides.
