The Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 Stealth Pickup Goes Predatory

The Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 Stealth Pickup may seem like adding war paint to the popular double cab automatic, but that’s not a bad thing. The exterior of the truck went through a “de-chrome” process where the roof bars, side steps, radiator grille, front fog light surrounds, rear bumper trim, door mirrors, and door handles were given a black out treatment, resulting in the truck becoming more sinister. Even the logos didn’t escape the treatment, with both the Isuzu and D-Max Arctic Trucks badges receiving the black tones. It almost melds into the shadows. Think black panther waiting in the shadows of the trees to pounce on you and you’ve got the general idea. When it is time for the truck to attack, the Stealth is equipped with LED headlights, front fog lights, and two sets of Lazer lights on the front bumper and sports bar.

Before you dismiss this as a facelift for an existing truck, consider the base vehicle and what it’s capable of. The D-Max AT35 comes with a turbocharged 1.9 liter four cylinder diesel engine that is capable of 164 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. It has an 8,000 pound tow rating, and speeds top out at 112 miles per hour. In other words, that itchy feeling that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up because something is watching you? Yeah, that’s the Stealth waiting in the shadows of your garage for you to come out.
