Japan’s Wald International got hold of a Suzuki Jimny Sierra, customising the hell out of the 4×4 so it could be reborn as the Jimny Black Bison edition. With some clear inspiration from the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, this custom Jimny Sierra raises the bar for Suzuki.
Using a Sierra variant, Wald redesigned the front bumper, which connects with the over fenders—as do the rear fenders and bumper. Wald then added a new grille, headlight covers, and a more aerodynamic hood, as well as a few additional air intakes.
There’s no word on the engine, so most likely Wald kept either the 660cc turbocharged inline-3 or the 1.5-litre inline-4. More aggressive rims with orange accents were added and then shod in knobbier tires. The whole thing was then given a darker colour theme, with a charcoal grey body and black accents.
The colour scheme gives this 4X4 a dressed up look, almost as if it just came off the back trails, jumped in the shower, and put on a tux for the opera. Whatever vibe Wald was looking to create with this custom, it’s apparent that Suzuki naysayers will be looking at the motor company in a new light and looking towards Wald to beef-up their current set of wheels.
