UCLA Medical Center fitted an ambulance with an ECMO machine—a system that provides cardiac and respiratory support, allowing the heart and lungs to rest prior to and during surgery. Since then, the mobile ECMO machine has saved over 50 lives. The money raised from this raffle will help build out this program, fund a new ambulance and other UCLA Health System initiatives.
