“The Rough Crafts Indigo Flyer Ducati takes advantage of the noticeable absence of a SportClassic in the Ducati range. Ever since Ducati stopped producing the SportClassic in 2010 (the line only ran for seven years), fans have been salivating for a contemporary version. Enter Rough Crafts.
Using a 2016 Ducati Monster 1200 S as their base, Rough Crafts is putting out a café racer that, while it may not be a spot on match to the original SportClassic, still brings that flair to the plate. The bodywork was all done from scratch before shoving a 48mm Ohlins forks onto the bike. Wukawa Industry put together custom-designed six-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels and Rough Crafts shod those wheels with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tires. For a color scheme, Rough Crafts went with denim blue, earning the bike the name “Indigo Flyer.”
The Monster base comes with plenty of power courtesy of its L-twin motor—147 horsepower and 91 lb-ft of torque.
