The Titan R 1000W Electric Bike Borrows the Café Racer Look

The first motorcycles looked like nothing more than a bicycle with a gas tank and an engine attached. Tempus Electric used that historic look to inspire the looks of their Titan R 1000W Electric Bike.

The Titan R is made of aircraft grade steel and an aluminium front fork. It comes equipped with a 1000W hub motor that can reach a top speed of 28 miles per hour. A removable 52V 13Ah lithium-ion battery provides the current needed to power the engine, and has a range of over 40 miles. The battery does take four hours to charge, but you can always use the pedals to get to where you need to go if you find yourself stuck.

When it comes to looks, the Titan R closely mimics the classic café racer motorcycles. The skateboard seat pairs with a faux tank complete with knee indents. The bike comes with 26×2.4 inch wheels complete with hydraulic disc brakes. For security, the battery locks to the hardtail frame. The LCD screen offers additional security, requiring a passcode to start the electric motor. You can also use the screen to limit your top speed to help conserve battery life.
