Death Machines of London want you to know that they had a hard time building the ‘Up Yours Copper’ Motorcycle so that you feel their pain in a good way. ‘Up Yours Copper’ is all about the detail and unique materials that make this bike one of a kind. As Death Machines of London are a custom shop, the ‘Up Yours Copper’ is crafted from the remains of a 2007 Triumph Thruxton 900.
The bike’s aesthetics are comprised of copper, brass, American Walnut and Beluga Black paint. Copper coated injection caps, a copper plated cam cover and two Avon Trail Rider tires with rims electroplated in copper project the bikes industrial appearance. The sprocket cage features solid brass grills and an engraved name plate. The frame is finished in a dark coat of Beluga Black. The seat is hand-crafted from American Walnut and has been meticulously constructed from seventeen parts to maintain a consistent grain pattern within the highly complex curves of the riders form.
The bike has been de-lugged, weld cleaned and extensively modified with an entirely new rear. The engine has remapped fuelling to suit the custom exhaust system. The fuel pump and injection system are uprated, and front brakes were then stripped and modified with a custom Fontana four leading shoe assembly. A hand-stitched and tanned leather tank strap is made from the finest saddle hide which completes the reconditioned 900.
