Rod Emory is known for his awesome vintage Porsche customizations. The well-known mechanic has been restoring vintage Porches for more than 27 years. Apparently deciding that it’s time to try something new, the famed customizer partnered with Vintage Electric to design this cool Vintage Electric Outlaw Tracker Bicycle. The result is a bicycle that has the same unique character as Emory’s customised Porsches. According to Rod Emory, this bike was inspired by misfits and tastemakers.
Emory brought a lot of Porsche character to the design of the Outlaw Tracker. It has the same silver metallic paint finish as the Porsche 911 Carrera. It also sports the same mesh grille and bucket headlight as Emory’s customised Porsche.
The limited-edition e-bike is powered by a 3,000-watt rear hub electric motor. It can reach speeds of almost 58 km/h. That speed isn’t legal for bicycles on many roads, so the Outlaw Tracker has a street mode, which caps the speeds at 32 km/h.
It can get up to 56 km with pedal assist on a single charge thanks to a 702-watt lithium battery, which sits on a heat-dispensing hydroformed aluminium frame. Recharge time is just two hours.
Other features include tracker-style handlebars, a moto-inspired inverted fork, hydraulic disc brakes by Shimano Alfine and 26-inch Schwalbe Fat Frank tires.
The Emory Outlaw Tracker is limited to just 50 units. So, if this is the bike that you dream of owning, you should probably hurry as the 50 units will go quickly as this bike has it all—style, speed and quality.
