The 787 Dream Jet Flies Miles Above Economy
Tired of being crammed into coach seating when flying? Then you need the 787 Dream Jet. When your company’s stated vision is of “making travel an art”, you have a lot to live up to, and it looks like Deer Jet delivered with this jet.
Designed by French aircraft interior designer Jacques Plerrejean, the jet was built over a 2.5-year period. If not for the windows and the layout, it’s entirely possible that passengers will think that they’ve entered a five star hotel rather than boarded a jet. The jet features a master bedroom with adjoined bathroom and dressing area, a lounge and dining room, a guest cabin, and a kitchen. The cabin measures in at 220 square meters, providing plenty of room for its maximum occupancy of 40 passengers. The crew is purported to be seven star rated for hospitality—and they’d have to be to work in such posh surroundings.
The jet is no slouch, though. It is capable of 17 hours of non-stop flight and has a maximum range of 15,789 kilometers. Made of carbon fiber, it’s lighter than other jets, improving its fuel efficiency. The jet also comes equipped with bacterial removal and dust filtering systems to keep the air and interior cleaner and healthier. Plus, it has smooth ride technology that senses and counters turbulence, helping to reduce motion discomfort.
