Inside Look at the Superyacht Regina Featured in James Bond Skyfall
Regina is the stunning beauty featured in Skyfall. We are talking about the 183-foot schooner on which the film was shot. In the movie, James Bond and Severine sail on the Regina, referred to in the movie as the “Chimera”. This superyacht was so popular with the cast of Skyfall that they would spend time onboard in between shoots. The Regina is now being sold by Engel & Völkers Yachting. The current asking price is 8.85 million euros.
This schooner is just as stunning as it once was on the big screen. It impressed on the big screen with its teak decks, sweeping promenade and large screen 3D television. Built in 2011 and refurbished in 2016, this magnificent schooner is quite impressive. With 1,140 square meters of sails, the Regina has a top cruising speed at 12 knots.
The Regina is perfectly equipped to entertain guests in true Bond style. The large 31-foot deck provides plenty of room for sunbathing or relaxing. There is room for al-fresco dining near the stern and bow of this ship.
Luxurious materials, such as onyx, marble and mahogany accents give the Regina a classic sailboat feel. She accommodates up to 12 passengers comfortably. There are six air conditioned staterooms for passengers. Each cabin has rich dark tones with unique mousse onyx columns and walls made of Afyon Marble. In addition to the guest cabins, there is room for up to nine crew on the Regina. Other amenities include a jet ski, satellite television and a baby grand piano.
