Luca Doncic Apocalypse Manufacturing Hellfire

Luka Doncic’s New $350,000 Hellfire Apocalypse Truck is More Terrorising than his Game

Luka Doncic’s basketball skills are a force to be reckoned with, but his ride might be his most intimidating move yet. The Dallas Mavericks superstar recently caused a stir when he pulled up to the American Airlines Arena in an Apocalypse Manufacturing Hellfire 6×6 Super Truck. While fans are used to seeing their favourite NBA players roll around in exotic vehicles, this transformer truck on steroids takes it to a whole new level.

Apocalypse Manufacturing, based in Florida, is known for taking already impressive vehicles and turning them into giant mechanical beasts by extending them, adding another set of wheels, and upgrading the engine for even more power. The Hellfire is based on the already imposing Jeep Gladiator, but Apocalypse went beast mode by extending the bed by 2.3 feet, making the modified vehicle measure 20.5 feet bumper to bumper. But that’s not all, the truck was also lifted to a height of 6.75 feet, which is just a hair taller than the player himself. To make the vehicle even more striking, it was fitted with a steel bumper, winch, and angular fenders and covered in a three-part Kevlar armour painted matte black.

But the real power lies under the hood, where you’ll find a Chevrolet LS3 engine, the same engine found in the sixth-generation Corvette. Apocalypse claims that the engine can pump out 500 horses, all of which are sent to the vehicle’s six wheels via an automatic transmission. Doncic reportedly first caught wind of the 6×6 on TikTok and reached out to the company about buying one of his own. According to the company, the rugged beast starts at USD$150,000 (AU$211,000), but it’s reported that Doncic paid closer to USD$250,000 (AU$352,000) for his.

Last week, the 23-year-old Slovenian suffered a “mild” left ankle sprain against the Phenix Suns and is currently day-to-day with his recovery, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Doncic entered the game averaging a league-best 33.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game. His scoring average fell to 33 points per game after Thursday night, moving him to second in the league behind Joel Embiid (33.4 ppg). However, this injury should give the point guard plenty of time to enjoy some off-roading before taking over the league again.
