Tasked to create a unique café racer, Takashi opted to choose the GL400 which offered more opportunity for expression, but its V-Twin turned into something of an obstacle. Known for his craftiness, this didn’t stall Takashi or Wedge Moto for long. After conquering the main wing, Takashi attached spoked wheels and swapped the front end with a Yamaha SR400.
After completely redesigning the chassis subframe and rear suspension system, Takashi was ready to present the bike to his client. Needless to say, they were thrilled… and so were we. Again, Wedge Moto did an outstanding job of fusing a few different bikes together to makes something much better than the sum of its parts.
