Bucherer Blue Edition Harley Davidson is the World’s Most Expensive Bike

Bucherer, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, partnered with Bundnerbike, a Swiss custom Harley Davidson workshop, to create the world’s most expensive bike—Blue Edition. The bike started out as a Harley Davidson Softail Slim S, but you’ll be hard pressed to find much of that original bike. Every metal part was swapped out with handmade parts. The camshaft, valve controls, and throttle valves, (which are gold plated), are visible through a window in the camshaft housing. Heat-resistant LEDs light up the interior. Aside from the throttle valves, several other parts are also gold-plated. The intense blue of the bike’s paint was achieved by first plating the entire motorcycle in silver and then applying six color coatings.

What really increases the bike’s value is the inclusion of precision watchmaking and jewelry. Under a glass dome made of armored glass, you’ll find two retractable safes. One houses a six-prong Heaven solitaire ring with a 5.40 carat diamond. To the side of the ring, you’ll also find a Carl F. Bucherer custom made watch based on the Patravi TravelTec II model. The 360 diamonds, gold and silver plating, unique and secret paint job, diamond ring, custom watch, and Harley Davidson base make this bike not only expensive, but luxurious as well.
