Get the Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Before Skynet Does

You’ll have to resist the temptation to say, “I’ll be back” every time you go somewhere if you buy the 1991 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle used in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This iconic motorcycle is being auctioned off as part of the Icons Legends of Hollywood Auction held by the auction house Profiles in History. Perhaps the most memorable scene of the bike was the rescue of the young John Connor from the T-1000 where Arnold, or perhaps his stunt double Peter Kent, performed a three-meter jump into a storm drain. While that may be what comes to mind in terms of onscreen action, it’s difficult to remove the bike from the movie’s marketing efforts. It appeared in nearly every poster and just about every photo with Arnold in the Terminator trademark leather jacket and pants and sunglasses toting his lever-action Winchester shotgun.

The bike comes directly from Carolco Pictures and shows only 392 miles. There is minor damage—scratches and dings and dents to the front and rear fenders and fork as well as three tears in the black vinyl of the saddle that came from production of the movie (at least it survived given the terminator’s penchant for destruction!). The side mirrors are also missing. The bike is untested, so it may or may not be in working order. That being said, there’s no reason why it couldn’t be roaring back to life with the proper care.

The bike is expected to bring in at least $200,000.
