The MotoRelic Dastardly Ducati Challenges Convention and Impresses

Despite first impressions, this minimalist beast started its life as a 1965 Ducati 250 Scrambler.

The custom shop based out of Virginia undertook the challenge to convert the old bike into something much more exotic Sean Skinner, head of the MotoRelic team, started by cutting up the frame, replacing the tank, modifying the light, and retooling the engine. Then Sean hopped onto the functionality train, and started tweaking anything that would make the bike less impressive on the road.

Once the bike was returned to its former glory visually and mechanically, it went through rigorous testing to ensure that it stacked up to what we would expect from a cycle of its pedigree. Sure enough, the Dastardly Ducati rode just as well as it looks and was delivered to the its rightful owner.

Head on over to MotoRelic to check out this extreme renovation and other impressive overhauls.
