Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha has challenged preconceived notions of motorcycling when it comes to their bikes inspired by the Dark Side of Japan movement. The Dark Side of Japan, which showcases the intriguing, dark culture of Tokyo, has been the inspiration for several of Yamaha’s bikes, including the MT-10 Tourer Edition. The MT-10 embodies the Dark Side of Japan movement with its dark, aggressive styling. It provides a unique riding sensation that captures the raw fundamental spirit of riding.

The Dark Side of Japan bikes represents a whole new concept in motorcycle design. These high-performance machines are for riders that want a bike with lots of character and personality. The MT-10 Tourer Edition offers plenty of both. It is a versatile roadster that is built to handle a range of riding conditions.

Powering the MT-10 Tourer Edition is a powerful 998cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. This combination provides plenty of pep for the city streets.

Öhlins sophisticated Electronic Racing Suspension combined with agile handling makes the MT-10 Tourer Edition ideal for touring. The MT-10 has a variety of new accessories including the GPS support located on the dash. The GPS is designed to be used with a variety of devices, including the TomTom Rider satnav.

This hyper-naked roadster is perfect for longer ranges and higher speeds. It offers natural, relaxed ergonomics for a variety of different riding positions. Knuckle guards and a tall windshield let you run longer on every single trip. Who is ready to take a thrilling journey through the darkness on this powerful street bike?
