Moar Bikes just released a new fat-tire, folding-frame E-Bike through an Indiegogo campaign. We have to say that this E-Bike is unlike anything that we have seen before.
Typical folding bikes, while commuter-friendly, are ideal for short rides around town but not much more than that. The fat-tire, folding E-Bike by Moar Bikes has enough power to tow an SUV. It has several features that other ebikes do not have that make it a beast, including a powerful motor, full suspension and an aircraft aluminium frame.
The Moar E-Bike features an angled frame and oversized 24-inch tires that make it look more like a motorcycle than a traditional bike. It strikes the perfect balance between fun and practicality.
This bike is both versatile and convenient. Although most traditional fat-tire bikes were once for mountain bikers, the Moar E-Bike is truly a bike for all situations. It folds neatly up into a highly-compact bundle, making it great for commutes through the city. With its powerful motor, full suspension and large tires it is equally equipped to tackle the backcountry trails.
There are two motor options. Customers can choose either a 500-watt or 750-watt motor. With the 750-watt motor, this E-Bike has a range of up to 85 miles and a top speed of 32 km/h using the pedal-assist feature. The E-Bike bike is equipped with a 48-V lithium-ion battery. It weighs 27 kg without the battery.
Other features include disc brakes, integrated turn signal tail lights, waterproof electronics and an integrated gear rack.
