Camera wizards Leica are at it again. Building on the existing Leica T camera system, the new TL has a few new features and for some that’s more than enough. The exterior is identical to the T with a single block of aluminum and some controls on the top plate with the majority of control options available on a 3.7-inch touchscreen. On the inside is where the changes are more evident. There’s no need for an SD card, as the onboard storage is now 32gb. Also, there’s a versatile autofocus sensor that functions a lot better than the original.
Camera enthusiasts know you buy a Leica for the quality of its lenses, which can be used without an adapter. The TL system has three primes and three variable-aperture zooms. It comes in three colours; anodised titanium, black and silver. This Leica camera will set you back $2450, but you definitely won’t be disappointed by the quality it offers.
