In typical Apple style, the latest iteration of their eminent smartphone has been shrouded in secrecy, speculation, and of course a healthy dose of pre-launch leaks. Early this morning, the tech behemoth announced their next big Apple Special Event to be held on the 12th of September.
Thanks to 9 To 5 Mac, we have the first look at the latest smartphone and smartwatch expected to be unveiled. Dubbed the ‘iPhone XS’, the new flagship phone is anticipated to be available with either a 5.8-inch or 6.5-inch OLED display. It’s also looking likely that the new ‘iPhone XS’ will come with a never-before-seen gold colour option. Other than this there is no doubt that the phone will be updated with a plethora of hardware updates, revamped technical specs, and be released alongside the new IOS12 software update.
Apple is also expected to be updating their line of smartwatches with the ‘Apple Watch Series 4’ at the same event. The new timepiece will be adorned with an edge-to-edge display and also be available in larger sizes. Apple has achieved this by dramatically reducing the size of the bezel which should result in a 15% larger interactive watch face.
Unfortunately, other details are still to be determined. But, if you are looking to scoop up one of these freshies, be sure to start saving your pennies; you can expect these updates to come with a hefty price tag. In the meantime, you can continue to salivate over the pictures, and let us know what you think in the comments.
