The JBL Link View is the next addition to Google’s line of smart displays. Partnering with Harman International means that Google Assistant now has a smart display that can pound the bass and rock the treble. The Link View measures 13 by 5.9 by 3.9 inches and has the basic shape of a football. The display itself is HD with a 1280 by 720 resolution, and measures eight inches across. The display is touchscreen, but the device is also voice controlled. The display allows for a lot of different options, including streaming audio and video or following recipes. And because the Link View has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, you can also make video calls with friends and family.
It’s the speakers that might give the Link View the advantage over other smart display devices. Two front-firing stereo speakers line the sides of the screen and a rear-facing passive radiator bumps out the bass. With 10W speakers and 24 bit HD audio streaming, and JBL’s earned reputation for quality sound, the Link View will sound beautiful. Throw in the Chromecast for multi-room playback, and the Link View is going to be all you need.
