JBL’s New Audio Lineup Takes the Party Portable
Audio brand JBL has revealed its new lineup of portable speakers, earbuds and PartyBoxes that are guaranteed to keep the music flowing no matter where you happen to be. Let’s start with the speakers:
Go 3 is the pocket-friendly speaker that sure looks a lot like soap on a rope, so maybe it deserves a permanent place in the shower? Clip 4 receives a fresh look plus, water and dust proofing, so clip it to a backpack and take it everywhere. Xtreme 3 is the largest of the bunch. It features four improved drivers and two pumping JBL Bass Radiators; the Xtreme 3 is guaranteed to rock the party. All three portable speakers feature Bluetooth connectivity, water and dust resistance and all-day battery life. There are stacks of colours to choose from including camo.

Talking earbuds, JBL expands its range with three new true-wireless in-ear options. Live Free NC+ is JBL’s take on the AirPods design, featuring active noise cancelling and up to 21 hours of battery life. Reflect Mini TWS combines a secure ear-fin with waterproofing and the same 21 hours playtime for everyone who likes sports and fitness complemented by a personal playlist.
The third option is an in-ear powerhouse. JBL Tune 220TWS keeps the best bits of the other earbuds and adds new features, like Pure Bass Sound from large 12mm drivers and 25 hours battery life. All three options include a charging case and hands-free calling. Just like the speakers, there are heaps of cool colours.
For anyone who likes late nights spent in karaoke bars, the new generation PartyBox is perfect for you. The JBL PartyBox 310 offers huge sound, dazzling lights and a set of smooth-glide wheels. Add some creativity to the mix via the dual mic and guitar inputs as well as a selection of built-in sound effects, or just blast the air horn to get the dance floor jumping. Place the splash-proof speaker out on the patio and take advantage of its 18-hour battery life.

The PartyBox On-The-Go is a more portable alternative with 100 watts of powerful Pro Sound, synced to a pulsing light show, and you can even wirelessly pair two together speakers for huge stereo sound. This one has a shoulder strap, wireless microphone included, and there’s even a built-in bottle opener—something that should be fitted to everything ever made.
It looks as though the United States has already received the new audio options, or will shorty. Australia and New Zealand will need to wait a little longer, as we were unable to confirm exact dates or local pricing.
