Klipsch R-15PM Powered Speakers Break the Sound Barrier not the Bank

Quality sound shouldn’t break the bank, which is what sets the KIipsch R-15PM Powered Speakers apart from the rest. In the case of these Klipsch speakers, you actually get more than what you paid for.

The R-15PM measures 12.5 inches high by 7 inches wide and 8 inches deep. A 1 inch aluminum diaphragm compression driver with a 90 degree square Tractrix Horn and 5.25 inch copper spun magnetically shielded IMG woofer make up the monitors. A built-in amp offers 50 watts per channel. There are also a plethora of inputs, including an optical digital, USB, and 3.5mm mini-jack. There’s even Bluetooth connectivity. And if you like bass, you’ll love the included sub out. The built-in phono preamp is a nice feature for all those vinyl aficionados out there. Another interesting feature is the square mouth of the Tactrix horn. Most speakers use a circular mouth, making Klipsch’s choice in interesting one, but the science behind the decision states that the shape is capable of better high frequency response. The Klipsch speakers also feature Linear Travel Suspension, LTS, which produces better results as a whole. Perhaps best of all, the Klipsch are turntable ready. With the resurgence of vinyl, this is a nice feature to have.

It’s good to see a company care about the quality of their product, and while Klipsch definitely does, it’s also nice to see that they’re not passing along the cost of that quality to the customer.
