New B&O BeoPlay A9 More Powerful and in Black

Bang & Olufsen has been making a lot of noise lately, especially with the release of its BeoPlay A9 speakers.

And it’s easy to see—and hear—why. The new look of the speaker has it coming out in black instead of the initial white design. The legs will now be of dark walnut instead of the initial teak, and the aluminium speaker ring will be anodized black instead of the silver metallic.

The BeoPlay A9 will also have a new feature of Spotify Connect. You’ll still be able to use AirPlay with your iOS devices and DLNA with Android. As for the sound, the A9 uses five built-in speakers, each driven by separate Class-D amplifiers with 480-watt power ratings.

And if the looks aren’t quite what you want, you can get the A9 customized to fit your décor.
