Ambeo Soundbar produces immersive 5.1.4 sound and deep bass. It’s designed to be one of the world’s best soundbars, placing you inside the sound experience with incredible realism – all without the need of a subwoofer. Ambeo is also one of the most expensive soundbars. It’s priced at $3,500 AUD.
Ambeo takes the hassle out of audio configuration, with automated room calibration that can precisely tailor sound to suit the room and preferred seating position. This ensures a perfect sense of immersion, whether you are watching a movie, listening to music or catching the game.
13 audio drivers and support for Dolby Atmos, MPEG-H and DTS:X are responsible for creating the stereo and 5.1 3D sound. Five audio presets can tailor frequencies and sound characteristics best suited to your content.
Sennheiser’s soundbar offers connectivity via built-in Google ChromeCast, Bluetooth and the usual HDMI, while the Sennheiser Smart Control app can be used as a remote and change settings.
Sennheiser says its Ambeo Soundbar is crafted from best-in-class materials and features a lacquered and brushed aluminium surface, so it looks every bit as premium as it sounds. For $3.5k, ,let’s hope it lives up to Sennheiser’s promise. Ambeo will be available from May. There’s a good chance the soundbar will be available at Sennheiser’s new Sydney store, and the usual retailers.
