Sing in the Shower Like Never Before with ICON.AI’s Stunning Smart Mirror

The age-old past time of singing in the shower just got a whole lot better, or worse, depending on your partner’s voice. At CES 2022, ICON.AI recently unveiled their latest piece of technology, the SOUND MIRROR, which allows users to stream music whilst in the bathroom. Thanks to award-winning innovative features, no longer will people have to suffer in silence whilst brushing their teeth or washing their hands.

As the name suggests, the SOUND MIRROR is a full-sized bathroom mirror that doubles as a smart speaker. The traditional looking mirror comes in either a circle or horseshoe design, with the only apparent difference being the speaker grill placed at the bottom of the face.

The SOUND MIRROR connects to your Wi-Fi and can then be activated by Alexa Voice services to request music, set alarms, access podcasts, and check the news. The mirror is also Bluetooth compatible for those without an Alexa subscription, allowing users to connect via their phone.

If you’re worried about your hot steamy showers getting the product wet, don’t be. The SOUND MIRROR is IPX7-rated, which is essentially waterproof. And while there have been no details on drivers, sub-woofers, or tweeters, ICON.AI promises ” high-quality, impactful sound” that won’t be affected by condensation.

The SOUND MIRROR comes in four different finishes, including gold, chrome, matt black and matte white. This gives consumers the opportunity to hang the mirror in various places around the house, not just the bathroom.

ICON.AI’s exciting product furthers the growing integration of technology with home furnishings. Whether it be Lifestyle TV’s or chairs with built-in charging pads, brands are starting to push the idea that technology can seamlessly blend with interior design.
