The Amazon Echo Studio Gives You Total Immersion

The Amazon Echo Studio is giving Alexa a new set of pipes. Not only does the studio give you access to the digital assistant and all her attendant abilities, it also creates a 3-dimensional soundscape that lets you experience studio-quality audio from every direction.

Alexa still does all the things that you’ve come to rely on her for in her new digs. You can still check the weather, set alarms, and control all those smart home compatible devices. But now the studio will fill your room with sound. Your ears are able to not only pick up sound but also to identify where the sound is coming from. The studio uses five strategically positioned speakers to send your music to your ears from different directions—a truly 3-dimensional sound that is both immersive and expansive. The speakers use Dolby Atmos technology to create a fuller sound that is both clearer and deeper than other speakers. Additionally, the Echo Studio adapts to your home by automatically analyzing the acoustics of the room and then fine-tuning its playback to optimize the sound.

You can stream your favorite artist, album, genre, or playlist on the studio. Additionally, just by requesting that Alexa discovers your devices, the Echo Studio will become he command center for your smart home. It also links with your smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and even the sound of glass breaking to provide you with security alerts. The studio also connects with the Fire TV Cube and the Fire TV Stick, so you can get completely lost in your entertainment. And speaking of security, the Echo Studio has a microphone off button so that you can electronically disconnect microphones when you need a bit more privacy.
