The 600x SD cards have been a great addition to the world of memory storage, but they’ve just been surpassed by Lexar’s new Professional 633x SDHC cards. The new cards have a speed rating of Class 10, thanks to their UHS-1 technology.
What does that mean? They can transfer data at up to 95MB per second.
In other words, you can capture high-quality images at 1080 p full-HD, 3D, and 4K video. They come with 16Gb up to 1TB of capacity; the 633x isn’t technically the first SD card with 1TB of storage, but it is the first to be offered to the public.
As Lexar explains, that much storage will allow you to “shoot and record more of what you love without changing cards with this high-capacity 1TB memory card that supplies the space you need for capturing all the action.”
Lexar had mid-range DSLR, HD camcorder or 3D cameras in mind when they put this card together.
With more space available, you’ll be able to capture all your memories and then quickly share them with others.
