Two things we absolutely adore here at Man of Many? Quality tech and premium leather. It then goes without saying that the new HP Spectre Folio comes straight out of our wildest fantasies. Specifically, the 2-1 laptop-tablet hosts a distinguished exterior of 100% chromed tan, full-grain leather, resulting in a truly timeless, sophisticated aesthetic. Designed to swing through on the hinge, it also folds down like a limited edition book. Throw in seamless performance, innate versatility, and broad functionality, and there’s simply nothing not to love about this brilliant computer.
Built to last and look downright good while doing so, the HP Spectre Folio pairs its premium leather wrap with a thin, lightweight chassis, underneath of which is a surprisingly small motherboard. At the heart of the device is either an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 (Y-series) processor. Also featured is a fanless thermal design, amounting to a cool and comfortable user experience. As if all that weren’t enough, the device represents the world’s first gigabit-class LTE Intel laptop, meaning Internet access is basically never out of reach. That’s all joined by an 18-hour battery life, up to 16GB of memory, up to 2 TB of SSD storage, four front-facing speakers designed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, and either a 300-nits FHD display or a low-power, 1W 400-nits FHD option. HP will also release a 4K UHD display4 panel option later this year.
The HP Spectre Folio is set to arrive on November 1. It will be available in Bordeaux Burgundy at Harvey Norman, and Cognac Brown at both Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi. We’ll see you there!
