Meet Miix 630, Lenovo’s latest Windows 10, 2-in-1 detachable unveiled at CES 2018. Miix 630 is designed to give you the power and productivity of a laptop, with the always-on connectivity and mobility of a smartphone.
Miix 630 has integrated 4G LTE meaning you don’t have to rely on Wi-Fi hotspots or activating one on your phone to check emails and stream your favourite shows.
It’s built using Qualcomm’s innovative Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform on Windows 10 S, so you can get work done on the go using your preferred programs. Miix 630 has a full-sized backlit keyboard with precision touchpad for comfortable and convenient typing. Lenovo also includes a digital pen with 1,024 levels of sensitivity for drawing, sketching and annotating with Windows Ink.
Just like a laptop, you have access to Cortana for voice commands, access to apps via the Microsoft Store, and if you prefer Windows 10 Pro, Miix 630 allows you to upgrade at no cost.
It’s fanless design packs more power with efficient heat processing for whisper-quiet operation, ideal for working in public spaces. At the end of the day, detach the keyboard and use the touchscreen to access social media and videos via your favourite streaming apps.
Even with its keyboard, Miix 630 is just 15.6mm wide and weighs 1.33kg. Its battery life is impressive – up to 20 hours of local video playback.
Better yet, Miix 630 stays connected in standby mode for up-to-the-minute emails, notifications, message syncing and Skype calls, all without draining your battery.
The Lenovo Miix 630 is shaping up to be an impressive piece of hardware, and we can’t wait to go hands and see what this baby can do. There’s currently no word on release date or pricing so in the meantime, check out Lenovo’s other big CES 2018 announcements like the Smart Display for people on-the-go.
