The Lexar Jumpdrive Fingerprint F35 Flash Drive keeps your data that much more secure by requiring a fingerprint scan to use the drive. Keeping your data safe is important, but sometimes you need it to be mobile as well. Putting your data on a flash drive is an option, but then it’s an easy thing for anyone to pick up the drive and view the contents. The F35 uses fingerprint authentication to ensure that only you and select individuals can access the data stored on it.
“The F35 combines reliable and secure data storage with biometric technology to prevent unauthorized access to your files—adding an extra layer of security for your drive by using fingerprint authentication,” explains Joel Boquiren, Director of Global Marketing for Lexar. “It is ideal for business professionals an d photographers who require high privacy protection to meet their needs.”
The F35 can be set with up to 10 different fingerprints, and it uses 256-bit AES encryption. The drive will be available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB sizes, prized respectively at $32.99, $50, $90, and $170. The flash drive is compatible with both PC and Mac, but does require a USB 3.0 port.
