If you’re the proud owner of a new MacBook Pro, you may be wondering how you’re going to deal with the new ports to keep your MacBook charged. From docks to dongles, there are options. Line Dock is offering yet another option with their battery. In short, the Line Dock looks like a MacBook sans screen that offers three USB ports, and HDMI port, a MiniDisplay port, and a USB-C port.
It even offers a Micro-B USB port for use with non-USB-C laptops. While it looks like half of a laptop, the Line Dock battery actually is just that—a battery. Specifically, the unit is filled with a 20,000mAh battery that holds enough power to charge a laptop fully one and a half times. And it’s not just storing power, the Line Dock also has an internal SSD for storing 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities.
The Line Dock battery comes in sizes meant to fit your MacBook, meaning you can choose from 12-inch, 13-inch, and 15-inch options. Prices are based on storage options, with a USD$149 price tag on units that have to add storage and then ranging all the way up to USD$599 for the 1TB version.
