Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio Specs and Info
The star of Microsoft’s virtual event overnight was the Surface Laptop Studio – which seems to be replacing the existing Surface Book as the company’s new portable hybrid. The device’s flexible design transitions from workstation to tablet, with the 14.4″ touchscreen doubling as a sleek canvas to draw, sketch and take notes like you would on paper. Additionally, the Surface Laptop Studio comes equipped with a 120Hz display and Quad Omnisonic speakers featuring large bass and immersive Dolby Atmos to boost users entertainment experience.

” is the culmination of years of Surface innovation, on hinges, display, silicon, and more, and brings the best of the Surface heritage together in one powerhouse device,” said Microsoft vice president of devices Pete Kyriacou in announcing the machine.
Complete Redesign
Microsoft’s new flagship laptop presents a complete redesign, ditching the removable display for a connected and moveable one. Using a flexible Dynamic Woven Hinge, the Surface Studio supports three modes: Laptop, Stage and Studio. Encompassing a full keyboard and an upgraded touchpad with haptics, laptop mode is relatively self-explanatory. However, stage mode is where things get more intriguing, as you can pull the display forward to an angle designed for streaming, gaming or presenting. The third and final Studio mode is for the artists, that can use the new and included Surface Slim Pen 2 for digital inking, sketching and other creative endeavours.

Performance Power
The available specs of the Surface Laptop Studio make building apps, editing video, and gaming more effortless than ever before. Quad-core 11th Gen Core i5 or Core i7 processors power the device with Core i5 models coming with Intel Iris Xe graphics, while Core i7 variants will include Nvidia’s RTX 3050 Ti GPU with 4GB of VRAM. Customers will be able to choose between 16GB and 32 GB of RAM and up to 2TB of removable SSD storage.
Productivity
The Surface Laptop studio is designed to get the best out of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, offering all-day productivity in any mode with easy organisation tools and more intuitive ways to navigate apps. Also, a 1080p HD camera and dual Studio Mics have been installed to ensure users look and sound their best on video calls.
