We’ve written about a number of Garmin’s fitness tracking products in the past, and for good reason. They consistently churn out some of the best simplistic and stylish trackers on the market, and do so at reasonable prices. This February, Garmin announced the new vivoactive HR and vivofit 3.
The vivofit 3 is a more casual option for those considering the two wearable options. While the vivoactive HR provides a more watch-like appearance in tandem with a ton of tracking options, the vivofit comes at a lower price, with a more focused set of options. The vivofit is billed as a daily activity tracker with one-year battery life and Garmin Move IQ, which auto detects activity and intensity minutes. Capturing activities such as walking, running, biking, swimming and elliptical training, the vívofit 3 keeps up with whatever type of physical activity you may be engaging in. As a more casual item, it is designed for 24/7 wearability, with water resistance to 50 metres. The vivofit 3 can also be personalised with an array of colourful accessory bands so you’ll never get bored of seeing it on your wrist.
