Joey Roth’s Wireless Speaker Made from Steel
The latest product to be released by Joey Roth is a wireless omnidirectional speaker, made from steel. Produced in Oregon, US, the speaker utilises a combination of raw materials including steel, aluminium and maple to create a high end, minimalist design sure to compliment any home. Steel Speaker is a mass-loaded transmission line that uses quarter-wave harmonics to extend the driver’s bass response. The hardwood ball at the bottom of the speaker diffuses sound from the front of the driver in all directions. It also houses the Bluetooth antenna.
