Samsung’s HMD Odyssey is more or less good to go right out of the box. Connect it to your PC and you’re ready to game. Under the visor are two 3.5 AMOLED displays and a 110-degree field of view. As a result you get deeper blacks, rich colours and gloriously detailed images in nearly every direction. Rounding out the experience is 360-degree Spatial Sound by way of built-in AKG headphones. Knowing their demographic all too well, Samsung fitted the headset with a mic to allow for seamless communication during gameplay.

Thanks to lightweight construction and an adjustable control wheel, the headset remains comfortable and tight fitting while you play. Included in the package are two motion controllers, and the device comes further equipped with 6 Degrees of Freedom inside-out position tracking. Indeed, Samsung’s mixed reality headset will be tracking your movements with surgical precision.
