Samsung has long been pushing out great smartphones, getting better and better with each release to challenge Apple and other titans of the industry. Their Galaxy line has gained market share and popularity with all types of users due to its great appearance, customizability and performance. Samsung has decided that the time is right to release their new phones, as the Mobile World Congress is going on in Barcelona. There, Samsung has just revealed the latest cutting-edge smartphone technology – the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will look to continue their great quality with a refined design, an even more advanced camera, streamlined software functionality and best in class connectivity to Samsung’s awesome suite of products, services, and experiences. The phones will offer a number of exciting features such as expandable memory, an enhanced fast charge technology (95 minute full charge), a premium glass design, Samsung’s high speed Octa processor and their mobile pay offering, Samsung Pay. It’s the impressive combination of form and function we have come to expect from Samsung.
Both the S7 and the S7 Edge will be on sale starting March 11, 2016 and priced at $1,149 RRP for the Galaxy S7 and $1,249 RRP for Galaxy S7 edge. And if you pre-order, any Australian who purchases a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge device from a participating retailer or operator will receive a Samsung Gear VR headset. And as if that isn’t enough, in tandem with the phone release, Samsung Pay will be coming to Australia in late 2016. Allowing users to pay with just a tap of the phone, the mobile payment service simplifies your wallet in ways that can’t be matched by the competition. Between the new phones, Gear VR and Pay functionality, there’s a lot to be excited about from Samsung in the coming months.
