The Google Pixel 3A Smartphone may have been billed as a more affordable version of Google’s smartphone, but the truth is that the 3A can stand on its own as an impressive phone. The 3A inherits quite a few traits from the Pixel 3, including being able to launch Google Assistant as well as Active Edge Squeeze and a powerful camera. The 3A comes with one power and storage option, specifically 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory.
Price starts getting cut by a few material changes. For instance, on the Pixel 3, the back is glass, while the 3A employs plastic. There’s also only one front-facing speaker. That being said, users will be pleased to see that there are still plenty of other similarities. The rear camera and flash are still on the left and the volume rocker and power button are on the right. The USB-C port stays at the bottom, where you’ll find the welcome addition of a headphone jack.
The 3A measures 151.3mm x 70.1mm x 8.2mm, and features a 5.6-inch display. If you want a larger display, you can opt for the Pixel 3A XL. The display has a 2220 x 1080 resolution and is full HD+ and OLED, meaning your viewing pleasure won’t be hampered by subpar performance.
While you can make the argument that the 3A doesn’t have that “premium” feel, you’re still getting the performance you want and a price you can afford.
