The latest member of Motorola’s moto z family is strutting onto Australian soil. Touting dual smart cameras, hyperfast processing, and a stunning edge-to-edge display, the moto z3 play is arguably Motorola’s sexiest smartphone to date. Expect a seamless mobile experience and full spectrum of modern features, all of it packed under Corning Gorilla Glass, and within a tight and lightweight body.
Equipped with a dual 12MP and 5MP AI-powered rear camera (and a front-facing 8MP camera), the moto z3 play offers sharp and utterly responsive resolution under a range of lighting conditions. Thanks to depth-sensing capability, Cinemagraphs, Google Lens2, and other photo features, you can shift seamlessly between various modes, bring up information about objects and landmarks, or get wildly creative with each individual shot.
Meanwhile, Motorola continues to capitalise on moto mods, the brand’s unique line of snap-on accessories. To that end, the moto z3 play can blast music through a JBL SoundBoost Speaker, project a 70″ screen onto the wall by way of Insta-Share Projector, print images through a Polaroid Insta-Share Printer, and more.
Powering the moto z3 play is a Qualcomm SnapDragon octa-core processor, which delivers a 30% boost in performance. Also featured are a Full HD Super AMOLED display and lightweight body of aircraft-grade aluminium. Suffice to say, this smartphone has all the modern specs you can ask for. It will be available starting 4 October, at a retail price of $799AUD.
