Hisense Unveils an 85″ ULED TV That Automatically Recognises Your Gaming Console
“There is a Hisense TV for every home.” That’s the new tagline from Hisense for its new 2022 TV range and based on the specs, the brand might be onto something. The tech company is delivering on the promise of that statement with a series of TVs that will fit into any home, and the lineup of features makes these entertainment units exactly what you’re looking for—whatever that may be.

For starters, the Hisense ULED TVs offer 8K definition—which the brand says is four times the depth, detail, and precision of a 4K UHD TV. Using advanced deep learning algorithms and AI Upscaling Technology, the new TVs are said to analyse images frame by frame and adjust pixels for optimum picture quality. The result is an image with richer blacks and keener highlights, which Hisense claims will fill the picture with over one billion shades of colour. And if you’re planning on using the new range for gaming, you’ll be more than pleased with the Game Mode Pro’s minimal input lag and their uber-impressive refresh rates. Plus, the TVs come with Dolby Vision HDR for even better performance and an Anti-Glare feature that helps optimise your viewing experience.
According to Hisense, the new Game Mode Pro is designed with next-gen consoles in mind. Through the adaptive technology, the TVs recognise your console and automatically activate advanced HDMI features like VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), making the overall playing experience far more seamless. And when you can’t find the remote, you won’t have to send out any search parties. Just use the far-field voice control technology for completely hands-free control. The TVs are powered by Android TV, so you’ll have more content than you’ll know what to do with. But what’s on screen is only half the story.

Hisense has confirmed that the new U8G TVs come with Dolby Atmos Audio to round out your viewing experience with the pleasure of cinema-quality audio. They also incorporate DTS Virtual:X to create an immersive audio experience that will have you getting lost in your favourite shows and music. Throw in the IMAX Enhanced experience for higher quality colour, contrast, clarity, and sound, and all of sudden you’ve got a pretty handy addition to the home theatre.
Oh, and Hisense has your back. They went the extra mile to get these TVs certified by TUV Rheinland by reducing the amount of blue light by 20 per cent, which protects your eyes and reduces eye strain and fatigue. The TVs come in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes, and are priced at AUD$4,399, AUD$5,199 and $9,999 respectively.
