Listen up gearheads and vinyl lovers, because a new Kickstarter campaign wants to take you higher. How much higher? Well, maybe a foot or so, but we'll be damned if that's still not cool as hell. Here to deliver that literal next-level experience is the First Levitating Turntable from MAG-LEV Audio. Those nifty geniuses are seriously committed to putting the "lift" in uplifting music. Okay, we'll stop with the puns now.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPairing quality performance with crafty design, the MAG-LEV First Levitating Turntable does exactly what it sounds like it will do. Throw a record on the platter and then watch in amazement as a series of short columns descend, leaving the platter to drift in mid-air while your record spins. In addition to being visually awesome, the First Levitating Turntable is also fairly effortless to set up. Both the tonearm and cartridge are pre-fitted, meaning all you really need to do is connect the player to an amplifier (which needs to be connected to speakers of course), throw on your favourite record, put the tonearm in position, lower the lever and bask in those wonderful tunes.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFor some extra convenience the tonearm automatically lifts when the record side is completed. You can choose between 33rpm or 45rpm with the touch of a button and the turntable also includes a 45rpm adapter for those rare 7" singles you have tucked away for special occasions. When you're done listening to music, the columns (or "feet") will raise to ensure the platter is nice and secure when not being used. Turn off the device and do something else, or change your mind and throw on another record because there's no such thing as having too much music in your life.\r\nCheck it out\r\nHave you subscribed to Man of Many?
