As we head towards the NBA Finals, Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest collaborative collection with the league. Forming a partnership in 2020, the French luxury house has produced various basketball inspired pieces, including apparel, footwear, champion trophy cases, and mini hoop sets. Extending its reach in the sport, the duo has now unveiled new leather goods to rock from the court to the club.

The latest campaign imagery consists of The Christopher backpack, Dopp Kit, Pocket Organizer, Malle Courrier and Keep-all 55. To celebrate its 75th anniversary, all items bear the iconic blue, red and white colourways of the NBA logo. Patterened underneath the luxurious, bold blue leather is the signature LV-embossed Monogram, accentuated by black overlay detailing and the inclusion of a new basketball-shaped LV graphic decal. The basketball theme is taken to new heights with the Keep-all, featuring a unique side panelling of netted hoop to swish various belongings.
Some exciting news for the potential champions, LV has created a freshly made Official Travel Trunk to house the Tiffany & Co.’s redesigned NBA Larry O’Brien Trophy. The trunk boasts large brass closures and fittings, a handpainted “V” for victory, and the LV basketball logo and microfiber lining. Additionally, the luxury house built a 2022 NBA Trophy Case, which bolsters the brand’s legacy of developing bespoke travel cases.
The range will be available via Louis Vuitton on June 2, the first day of the 2022 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Prices are USD$4600 (AU$6400) for the leather backpack, roughly USD$4300 (AU$6000) for the leather keep-all, USD$650 (AU$900) for the wallet and USD$1700 (AU$2400) for the travel bag.
